  • LEVA Hotel, Al Wasl

Ukrainian massage belongs to the same Eastern-European therapeutic lineage that produced some of the world's most rigorous bodywork. For generations it was taught as a clinical discipline, standardised in medical institutions and applied in rehabilitation, with pressure applied on purpose to genuinely reach the tissue and produce real results.

Several of Aurrum's therapists are from Ukraine and carry that background into every session. In our calm, private rooms in Al Wasl you are welcomed in your own language and treated with the seriousness that Ukrainian wellness culture takes for granted.

  • Ukrainian-speaking therapistsConsultation, session and booking can all happen in Ukrainian.
  • Systematic full-body workBack, shoulders, neck, legs, arms and scalp all get proper attention.
  • No upselling, everHonest published prices and no in-session product pitches.

What to expect

  • Thorough consultationYour therapist asks where you carry tension and what you need today, then shapes the session around it.
  • Real pressure, honestly appliedFirm where you need it, lighter and restorative where you prefer. Both are respected.
  • Recommended treatmentsDeep Tissue with Liliya is the closest match to Ukrainian therapeutic massage; Hot Stone with Michelle reflects the Slavic heat-therapy tradition.

Why Ukrainian and CIS clients choose Aurrum

Dubai's Ukrainian community has grown substantially, from long-term residents and entrepreneurs to professionals relocating from Eastern Europe, alongside CIS neighbours from Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and beyond.

They choose Aurrum because the technique is genuinely serious, the pricing is published and honest, and there is no language barrier or cultural friction. Message us in Ukrainian and we reply in kind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have Ukrainian-speaking therapists?

Yes. Several of our team speak Ukrainian, and the wider group of eight licensed therapists all trained in the Ukrainian, Russian and European tradition, so the language and the technique come from the same place. Write to us in Ukrainian on WhatsApp (wa.link/aurrumspa) and we answer in Ukrainian, from the first question through to the appointment confirmation; the phone line +971 58 887 7893 works the same way. Ask for a Ukrainian speaker when you book and we will arrange the schedule accordingly. Because every therapist performs every treatment, that request never narrows your options: Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, Lomi-Lomi, bamboo, aromatherapy and couples sessions all remain available whoever takes your booking. Where your own language matters most is the consultation before the session, when you explain what your body needs and how firm you want the work to be.

Which treatment is the most authentic Ukrainian-style massage?

Deep tissue comes closest to the Ukrainian therapeutic school, which treats massage as disciplined clinical work rather than pampering. Expect a methodical session: the therapist moves through the back, shoulders, legs and neck in sequence, applies firm pressure with a clear purpose and returns to the areas that genuinely hold tension. It costs AED 630 for 60 minutes or AED 945 for 90, and the longer option suits anyone who wants the entire body covered without the pace feeling hurried. If heat therapy is part of your tradition, hot stone is the natural companion, using basalt stones warmed to 50 to 55 degrees Celsius to soften tissue before deeper strokes. Both treatments are performed by all eight of our licensed therapists, so availability is rarely a problem. Tell us on WhatsApp what outcome you want and we will suggest the better fit for that day.

Do you offer a banya or steam room?

There is no banya at Aurrum, and no steam room, sauna or cold plunge either; we are a dedicated massage spa inside LEVA Hotel in Al Wasl. What we share with the banya tradition is the conviction that a treatment should actually change how you feel, which is why sessions here run at real therapeutic depth in private rooms with fresh linens. Guests who miss the heat ritual usually solve it one of two ways. Some book hot stone massage, where stones at 50 to 55 degrees Celsius carry warmth deep into the back and legs. Others visit a separate banya for the steam and come to us afterwards for professional bodywork, a pairing that works well in either order. With opening hours from 10:00 to 01:00 every day, fitting a late massage after an early evening steam elsewhere is easy.

Is Aurrum suitable for first-time spa visitors?

Completely. A first professional massage is easier than most people expect, and our therapists calibrate the session to your comfort from the opening consultation. You will be asked where you feel tension, what pressure you prefer and whether any area should be avoided; if you do not know the answers yet, that is normal, and the therapist will start at a moderate depth and check in as the session goes. Everything happens in a private treatment room with fresh linens, and you can ask to adjust the pressure at any point without it feeling awkward. For a first visit we usually suggest Swedish massage, AED 525 for 60 minutes, as the gentlest way to learn what your body responds to. Ukrainian and Russian speakers can hold the whole conversation in their own language. Book on WhatsApp and simply mention it is your first time.

Can I book a recurring weekly or monthly slot?

Yes, and many Ukrainian and CIS clients treat their appointment as a fixed part of the week. Tell us the day and time that suit you, for example every Thursday at 20:00, and we will hold that pattern rather than making you rebook from scratch each visit. Regular guests often stay with the same therapist, which pays off quickly: your pressure preferences, problem areas and progress are remembered, so each session starts where the last one ended. Our hours make consistency realistic even around a demanding job, since we are open from 10:00 to 01:00 every day and the last appointment is accepted at 00:30. If a week falls through, one WhatsApp message is enough to move the slot. Start with a single visit, see which therapist you click with, then ask us to make the arrangement recurring.
