- Is four hands massage twice as effective as a regular massage?
Not in the way you might expect. It is not simply twice the physical work — it is a different neurological experience. The mind's inability to track both therapists simultaneously produces a state of passive surrender that cannot be achieved through any single-therapist treatment. Many clients describe it as the deepest relaxation they have ever felt.
- Do both therapists need to be the same gender?
No. Our pairings are based on technique and synchronisation compatibility, not gender. Your preference is noted at booking — if you have a specific request, we will accommodate it where available.
- Is it strange having two people work on you at once?
For the first 30–60 seconds, yes — the brain attempts to map what is happening. After that, most clients report losing track completely and entering a state of pure sensory reception. The strangeness resolves quickly and is replaced by the defining quality of the treatment.
- How far in advance do I need to book?
Four hands requires two therapists to be available simultaneously. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are occasionally possible — message us on WhatsApp to check.
- Can I choose which therapists perform the session?
You can express a preference for specific therapists, and we will match them with an available partner whose technique complements theirs. Ask about current pairings when you book.
- What should I do differently to prepare for this treatment?
Nothing different from any other massage — arrive hydrated, avoid a heavy meal in the hour before, arrive 10 minutes early. The session does the rest.
- Is four hands massage available as part of a couples booking?
Not simultaneously — a four hands session requires both therapists for one client. If both partners want four hands, this would be two sequential sessions. Contact us to arrange.
